Dr. Mujib. L. Palash is an Associate Professor in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, University of Dhaka, where he has been a faculty member since 2010. He completed his BSc and MS degree from the Department of Applied Physics, Electronics, and Communication Engineering, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Later he completed his MEng and Ph.D. degree from the Department of Energy and Environmental Engineering, Kyushu University, Japan. He was a student of the program called "Advanced Graduate Program in Global Strategy for Green Asia", Kyushu University, Japan, where he took the training on leadership, negotiation, economics, etc. to develop his leadership ability to fight for the environment. Additionally, he worked as a researcher in the Institute of Carbon-Neutral Energy Research, WPI, Kyushu Unversity, Japan, and obtained knowledge on the modern green energy systems.

He has received 10+ awards and honors which includes Dean's Award, President Award, Young researcher awards from Kyushu University, Japan for his academic and research excellence. Additionally, he has published 25+ research articles in various reputed journals and conference proceedings.

He has completed training from Hult Business School, UK in Entrepreneurship, and worked as a research assistant at Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Additionally, he has studied energy economics at Ritsumeikan Asia Pacific University, Japan. By combining the knowledge gained from research and entrepreneurship training, his team "S-cube" won the Hult Prize, Japan championship. He has received 3.2 million JPY grants by winning various competitions and awards.

His research interest is in developing environmentally friendly energy systems, especially in the field of energy conservation. His specialty covers the research area on porous materials, surface energy, adsorption, etc. The application areas of his research have numerous prospects which include adsorption chiller, water harvesting, thermal energy conversion.
